Leica Camera Asia Pacific Presents ‘More Earth’ by Wu Bai

Malaysia, 15 February 2012 – Leica Camera Asia Pacific has launched a 2 week long photography exhibition by Taiwanese rock singer Wu Bai. Titled ‘More Earth’, Malaysia is the second stop for Wu Bai’s travelling photography exhibition, stated to make its rounds across South East Asia. The exhibition is held at Shalini Ganendra Fine Arts @ Gallery Residence.

According to Mr. Sunil Kaul, Managing Director of Leica Camera Asia Pacific, the collaboration with Wu Bai is a perfect fit and reflective of Leica’s mission to expand the natural limits of perception and open up new dimension for human vision and insight.

“Leica is dedicated to transforming vision into personal creative fulfilment, inspiring a passion for expression that spans the decades,” he said.

“Just as how the exhibition has given Wu Bai with a platform to share another side of himself with the world, Leica hopes to inspire and equip its customers with the same opportunity for artistic expression.”

Wu Bai’s photography debut in Malaysia is shot entirely with the M6 & M7 with the 28mm f2 Summicron lens. Fourteen black & white prints will be on display in the gallery which will run from the 17th of February till the 29th of February 2012. Opening hours are from 11.00am till 7.00pm every Tuesday till Saturday. Admission is free.
