Released on January 2011, the Core i7-2600K is our latest CPU for out test bed. Running at a clock speed of 3.4GHz and having a smart cache of 8MB, this provides us in MAX-IT the performance we need to test both hardware and software.

For storage, our preferred HDD is WD's Caviar Black 1TB. Providing a generous amount of HDD space as well as fast read and write performance, the Caviar Black is our first choice.

When testing products be it, motherboards or NAS (Network Attached Storage) we require the best to provide us with the most accurate results.

If a CPU is the heart of a PC, then a graphics card is like the blood racing through your veins. Though a bit dated, the MSI Twin Frozr II is still one of the better cards out on the market and is currently part of our testbed setup.

For any motherboards that run on dual channel, we have Corsair's Dominator DDR3 dual kit. Each memory module here runs at a clockspeed of 1,600MHz and has a timing of 8-8-8-24.

The AcBel R8 800 provides 800 watts to empower all the components of the MAX-IT testbed.
